Not only is my LORD a loving God, He is also a just God who will proclaim justice to the whole earth.

I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will proclaim justice to the nation.
He will not quarrel or cry out,
no one will hear his voice in the streets.
A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smothering wick he will not snuff out,
till he leads justice to victory.

A just God can not leave sins unpunished, or else He would not be just. However, He is also a loving God. Through His immense wisdom and love, God gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to take the punishment of our sins so we will not be condemned.
