Found a wonderful website SecViz, which contains the exact info I was looking for on visualizing security.
I found a very relevant website, SecViz (Security Visualization), and found info I’ve been looking for – which types of graph are network analysts interested in. Since I am not a security analyst, it is really helpful for me when design the user interface.
- Relevant Graph Examples:
- Web Server Log

- Worm Attack Graph

- Trust Relationship Graph(SSH Session)

- Treemap Graph
- Autonomous System Core Graph

- Web Server Log
- Open-source graphing tools:
- Intrusion Detection Systems:
Noticed a tool called lanmap which passively monitors a network and bulds a picture of what it sees.
